Star Wars Special Forces - Episode IV

This little vignette is nearing completion. The principle character is also just about finished. With all of his accessories sculpted with milliput, its now time to give him a repaint! I started with the face, and worked my way down.
Varying degrees of highlights, and some pin washes brought out the detail in his facial features...

Once his face was finished, hit hat, flak vest, sunglasses, and shirt were repainted...

Here his is with pants painted green and highlights applied to the flak vest...

I wanted to give him some camouflage, like any good special operator would utilize in a heavily wooded area. Since the old BDU scheme is so iconic, and relatively easy to paint, I thought that would be best. So with the base coat of green set, I applied the brown splotches...

Then the light brown color...

And finally, the black...

Thought the knee pad looked good in black...

With a few highlights added to the knee pad, his look is nearly complete, save for a few details that will be added tonight...

Note the Rebel insignia on the front of his cap, I just couldn't resist leaving out...

A little more paint and a few washes and this will be finished. Thanks for following along!
Happy modeling!
